Key Details

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: $58,000 per annum, pro rata for 0.75 FTE role is $43,500.
Eligibility: Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a NZ Police Vetting Process
About the role | Mō te tūnga
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Service Administrator to join our widespread, but connected teams in the Canterbury/Southern & Central/Eastern districts. The role, based in a Christchurch Police station, is to help support District Managers, ensuring efficient service delivery and coordination across the district to achieve organisational outcomes.
Your day-to-day could look like:
- Providing administration support to District Manager as required, to support the effective operation of the district.
- Accurately entering referrals, missing information, and direct victim contacts into the case management system, in line with organisational best practices.
- Assisting with completing VAS applications, including engaging directly with victims to organise travel or clarify information, and accurately record this into the case management system.
- Support new employee inductions by coordinating logistics, such as swipe tags, desks and other essentials.
- Providing resources to victims via letters, emails, or other appropriate methods as required.
- Assisting with organising meetings, including taking minutes, booking venues, and travel when required.
