Location: Masterton Police Station 

Salary: $70,838.25 per annum.

Hours: Full-time, Sunday to Thursday

Eligibility:  Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a NZ Police Vetting Process

About the role | Mō te tūnga 

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our small team in the Wairarapa region to help support people affected by crime and traumatic events in our community. Your day to day could look like

  • emotional support and practical assistance with support plans
  • supporting clients to understand and access resources and clients’ rights
  • providing guidance through the justice system, and safety planning of whanau and property
  • connecting with local support services and counselling services where needed
