Location: Whangarei Police Station   

Salary: $80,115 per annum. 

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday 

Eligibility:  Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a NZ Police Vetting Process

About the role | Mō te tūnga  

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated leader for the team of Support Workers in Whangarei. In the role of Team Leader, Service Delivery, you will be the face of Manaaki Tangata Victim Support in the region. Your day-to-day will include: 

  • Building and maintaining healthy and productive relationships with stakeholders.  
  • Leading and supporting a team of Support Workers, providing day-to-day direction
  • Debriefing and coaching the team regularly
  • Overseeing case management, applying a focused approach and ensuring the right people and resources are in place

About you | Mōu  

We're looking for an excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and previous leadership experience to nurture and grow the team. 

As Team Leader you will be a self-managing person who has:

  • Great relationship-building experience 
  • An ability to think clearly and when needed, work under pressure
  • Has strong organisational skills
  • Sound judgment and an ability to problem-solve
  • Training and facilitation skills and experience will be an advantage
